Posted on July 21st, 2011Hi Taha…You are welcome. The mouth of the Rouge River is a good location and now is a great time to go for carp. The simplest bait you can make is to mix flour and water so that it has a “dough” consistency. You can also use corn-meal & water…it’s that simple. The dough has to be firm enough so that you can make a ball the size of a dime to a nickel. Make sure to really hide your hook inside the dough and cast out gently. To really help increase your chance at catching fish it will help to “bait”, or “mat” the area you will be casting to with either kernels of corn, or pieces of the dough you prepare…..God bless you, Italo
