Hey Italo I love your shows and Ive been watching you since I was a kid. Just wondering if you are aware of some good spots for shore fishing on scugog for crappie I want to go give it a try this weekend. Thanks for your time and keep up the good work!
Posted on May 8th, 2014Hi Mario….Thank you for your kind words. It really helps to have a small boat, kayak or canoe to fish some of the top crappie spots on lake Scugog. Here are a few of he crappie spots I know you can fish form shore, but the only way you will know if the crappie are in is trial-and-error; the small channel right next to the Port Perry, ON public boat launch, the marina docks in Port Perry & Westshore Marina, in the Nonquon river off of Simcoe St. N, & the shoreline around East Cross Creek where it meets the Scugog River off River Road, west of Hwy.#35 (just south of Lindsay). If you are targetting crappie you may want to check-out the new line of TriggerX grubs desigend for panfish.
