I was wondering I fish from shore and my lake gets pressured on the weekends so during the week it's hard to get the pike to bite The water is also is in the high 70s-80s we have had a lot of weed growth this year so if you got any tips or tricks you give me that would be great! Hi Ryan, thank you for your kind words. Glad you are enjoying the shows and tips. When weeds grow thicker from warmer, sunny summer days, pike tend to move out of the normal sparser weeds and hang-out more on the edges of the weeds where they meet deeper water. I just fished Sparrow Lake, north of Orillia, ON and the weeds are thicker than ever there. All the pike I caught were on the edges off the weeds an the biggest fish came off a 12′ weedline where we were targeting walleye.

I would suggest you try fishing the new Rapala Weedless Shad on the deep-side of the weeds, or the Lunker City SwimFish with a 1/4 oz. jighead along the weedlines.
