Hello Italo we have a small 12 or 14 feet boat and is wondering where would you suggest us to store our boat with for the summer We are in Toronto and is willing to drive within 3 hours to the marina. Please kindly let us know where would you suggest. We have also been looking at the Sturgeon lake kawartha area. But not sure where can our tiny boat be stored in that will be safe for us to fish. Many thanks
Posted on March 27th, 2015HI Steven…If you are planning on fishing Sturgeon Lake a good access point is from Long Beach in Cameron, ON where you would have access to excellen walleye, musky, small & largemouth bass, & panfish fishing areas close to the boat launch. I would encourage you to contact the owners of http://www.longbeachcottages.ca/ . I have launched my boat there and also parked my truck/boat at their facility. I have a feeling that you could also keep your boat there when you are not using it. By the way, best area to fsih there is Goose Bay where all you have to do is cast a 1/8 oz. Beetle Spin lure, or a Jointed Rapala #11 along the weedbeds or inbetween the many stumps for all species of fish. Best to use the Sufix 832, 10 lb. test braid….God bless you, Italo
