I have not really thought about it. I know that water in the bilge of a boat, live-wells, and the lower unit of outboards can definitely be carriers that can transport traces of invasive species from one body of water to the other. I have a feeling that lures and fishing lines can’t really hold water, water drips off and they dry off quickly, especially in hot weather, so I don’t think they would be a big threat for transporting invasive species.
