Hello Italo Just a few quick questions. My buds and I are planning on going to Hay Bay for Walley this week-end, launching the boat just south of Napanee. Is this a good area for early November? Should we fish shallow or deep? Is there any tips you can give us

Hi Craig…Hay Bay and the entire Lower Bay of Quinte is an excellent fall-time, trophy walleye fishing area. Right now some of the best walleye fishing is either cranking the deep-water weedlines with the Rapala Tail Dancer #9 & #11, or trolling for suspended walleye anywhere from the mouth of Hay Bay down to east of Glenora, ON. I was down last week and cranked the weedlines east of Glenora, ON and if you go to this weeks Weekly Update on out website you can see the trophy walleye and pike we caught. I have not fished Hay Bay this fall so i can\’t comment on the fishing success there, but I do know that the fishing has been good further south & east…God bless you, Italo
