Hello Italo…….Gabor and I might head down to Picton , on the 24th . What are the walleye hitting on now ??? TD 9\”s or what we have hot chub colour . We even think we might try a little night fishing for walleyes .any suggestions as far as lures? Thanks Jim
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Jim…The trollers are starting to catch more fish at the Bay. Most of them are either trolling planer-boards with the Tail Dancer #11, the new Jointed Storm Minnow, or with Great Lakes fluttering spoons off of lead-core line. At night the walleye move into shallow water to feed. One of the best places to intercept them is at the mouth of the Picton channel (where it meets Picton Bay). Most anglers there cast and retrieve either a Rapala J11, or a Rapala Husky Jerk #11…God bless you, Italo
