Good day Italo!since the ice is becoming more safe i’ve been wanting to venture out on Simcoe for Whitefish. Never caught one before and was wondering if you could recommend any areas within walking range. Thanks and keep up the good work!Jim

Hi Jim, thank you for your encouraging words. This early in the season I would suggest you either fish out from Jackson’s Point in about 40-50′ water, or access the ice from the west-side of Lake Simcoe out from Cedar Point (at the mouth of Cooks Bay), where the water drops down to 70′ not too far from shore and you are away from the main lake basin, or our of Jackson’s Point but only to about the 40-50′ depth….God bless you.
