Good day Italo Enjoy your show and fishing tips very much. I have recently rediscovered my love of fishing after a 30 laps. Your descriptions of lure use and techniques has been very helpful so I never miss your show. I recently purchased a level wind reel which is rated for 20 lb. mono. I primarily troll and hope to fish as many different species as possible with this reel.Would 50 or 65 pound braid be an option for this reel switching fluorocarbon leader size and rod type depending on fish species I find the fishing line options today a bit overwhelming. Many thanks take care.

Hi Kevin…Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad to hear you have re-discovered fishing! I think Sufix 832 braid in 50 lb. test will suffice for all your trolling needs. Switching your leader length, lb/test, and rod should work fine for most species of fish ranging in size from walleye to large pike, musky and lake trout. Hope you keep enjoying our shows, tips and that you catch a lot of fish with your new reel….God bless you, italo
