Good day. I’m fishing in a bass tournament on Saturday on Lower Buckhorn lake. Never fished there before. Any tips you could kindly share. Thank youPosted on July 9th, 2015
There is good spinnerbait water for both large & smallmouth bass on the large flat out from Wolf Island Provincial Park (north-shore). You can also target thick-weed largmouth in the wild-rice/lily pads in the weed filled bay, north shore just before the narrows at the north-west end. Twitching weedlines with Rapala Shadow Rap from Tobico Rock to Three Sisters Islands also good along with fishing soft-plastic swim-baits, tubes, twister-tail grubs. Fishing boat docks with plastic worms always an option for a kicker-fish.
