Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Rob, from my experience fishing Lady Evelyn lake in the fall, the walleye can be hard to locate in larger sizes. I found that it was easy to catch “eaters” in the slot, but tough to find the larger fish as they already start to migrate to deeper water. The topwater smallmouth bass fishing though can be awesome. Some people use minnows, but I have always done best using a nightcrawler and fishing my jig right along the bottom on the structure/sand breaks from 7-14′ depths…God bless you, Italo
