Do you think white trout worms are a good choice in clear water regardless of cloud cover? I am also thinking of getting fluorescent orange or red for cloudy times but am not sure which one is usually better. What do you think? I am thinking spring time lol Thank you Italo!
Posted on January 22nd, 2016I would not be as concerned about plastic grub colors for trout based on the cloud cover.
The clarity or turbidity of the water is a much more important factor. If the water is clear, go with natural colors whether it’s sunny or cloudy. If the water is turbid (murky), go with the brighter colors and also work the worm more so that it creates more vibration as it’s drifting.
