Dear Italo,Continue to enjoy your posts, most often with envy; especially like the recent one with your Dad. . I am here to once again pick your brain if you’ll allow. We are two retired fellows and are planning a trip for next season (probably June). We are from the New England States and have never fished for walleye and northerns. We’ve mostly fished northern Maine for landlocked, lakers and speckles. Anyway, we are considering a drive-to trip to Baker’s Narrows Lodge on Lake Apapapuskow near Flin Flon Manitoba. We have an airline credit to get us to Winnipeg, then would drive from there. Do you know anything about the place or the fishing? As we are retired, we have somewhat limited funds, so most of the fly in’s are a bit too pricey for us. We’d like a fairly remote wilderness place with housekeeping and the chance to target lakers, walleye and pike and we don’t mind driving. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Italo and Best Wishes to you and yours. Mark
