Can southern fresh water fish (mississippi state) live in colder ontario/quebec waters during winter?( crappie, bass)

Hi Larry, warm water fish are cold-blooded and adjust to water temperature changes. They can survive in any warm water lake environment. When water temperatures get cold (even in Canadian winters), warm water fish like crappie & bass may become more lethargic, but if they have adequate oxygen and food will survive fine.
