Are most crappies in southern ontario black crappies and are they good to eat year round? I read that white crappie get bigger lol. Thanks
Posted on April 11th, 2026Hi Angler, there are both black and white crappie in southern Ontario. Both are good eating year round. The Ontario white crappie record is 2.78lb and the black crappie record is 3.78 lb…God bless you.
