After reading the question about wear to store the rods I thought I should let you know what happened to my new rods last winter. Mice chewed the cork off the handles!!
Posted on December 14th, 2007Hi Rob…Good point. Rodents will obten eat anything organic (like cork), or anything that might have a food-smell on it (like fish scent from the past season). It\’s always a good idea to store valuable gear in a rodent-free environemnt…God bless you, Italo
