Pre-fishing for Kayak TV show produces trophy pike and largemouth bass.
Posted on July 5th, 2010I had a chance to meet up with James Beaupre and to fish a pot-hole lake in southern Ontario to make sure the fish were active so that we could shoot an Ocean Kayak TV show tomorrow. Things went as planned, we met at 8:30am and headed out on the lake. Within minutes James was into the first largemouth bass weighing around 4 lb.. We mainly fished the shorelines breaks and open-water weeds using flippin’jigs/trailers, and TriggerX plastic craws & worms. All produced nice-size largemouth bass and about a ½ dozen pike. Tomorrows conditions should be the same and we are looking forward to a great time shooting the TV show.[nggallery id=264]
