Port Dalhousie, ON Brown Trout.

Posted on November 30th, 2017

Our friend Conner Grdosic contacted me for some tips since he was planning on fishing Port Dalhousie, ON for the first time to try and catch a brown trout. Well, he was successful.  Drifting a 1 1/4 oz pencil weight on a 3-way rig bounced along the bottom in the main flow about half-way across the current, or fishing a float  rig along the rocks just below the dam and close to the rocks are the two top presentations. Nov. is an excellent time to catch both dark and silver browns and steelhead while the weather is still mild.
