We started today by filming many segments right at the Lotus Resort on the many fishermen that were casting nets & catching prawn-fry, and than interviewed the manager and filmed the resort.
After filming the resort we traveled to a farming village where we filmed the tribal farmers working the land with water buffalo, harvesting rice & thrashing it, and shepards tending their flocks.
From there we visited the famous Sun Temple where we marveled at the 12-perfectly sculptured sun dials and feats of ancient architecture.
Our last stop was one of the largest fishing villages in the area and our timing was just right as fishermen were returning from being on the water for over 24 hrs. Many of them bringing in large catches of King Mackerel, Dolphin Fish and a variety of other fishes.
