Ron Bierstine reports. Thanks to the first cold weather of the season this weekend and some wind and lake-effect snows the fishing action was a little slower for most anglers. Just before the latest cold weather the fishing reports were good on the Oak Orchard with good numbers of brown trout and steelhead hook-ups reported. Just recently some of the best brown trout fishing of the fall season was coming into shape in the area smaller waterways. The beginning part of the week ahead is forecasted seasonable warmer with highs in the 30’s F which should perk back up the fishing action under likely lite angling pressure thanks to the holiday approaching.
