Northern Lakes Bass & Walleye TV shoot action.

Posted on September 4th, 2016

I just had the pleasure of working with the Kinsman family that own Confederation Log Homes . Rick Kinsman was camera boat operator and his son Rich Kinsman was my fishing guest for the day. We stayed at Frontenac Shores on Lake  Mississagagon, ON and made that our home-base during our TV shoot. Our accommodations were nothing short of luxurious staying in beautiful Confederation Log Cottages right on the lake. We decided to fish a couple of lakes that I had never been on before, but did some research talking to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestly who helped me locate a couple of public lakes with good launches to catch lot’s of bass and walleye.

We caught largemouth bass casting Rapala crankbaits in open water and trophy smallmouth bass fishing Lunker City plastic grubs as deep as 30′ on another lake.

One of our highlights was Rich landing a trophy walleye while we were fishing plastic grubs in 30′ depths for trophy smallmouth.
