Some excellent Chinook (King) Salmon fishing on the Skeena River. April Vokey teamed up with some of the great people at Skeena Spey where Jean-Simone landed this fly-caught Chinook.

Noel Gyger reports. Mainly sunny with highs to +26 degrees Celsius. Skeena River in good shape around Terrace and Chinook are being caught and so are Sockeye. Kalum River is in good shape and fishable in  both lower and upper ends. Upper end is closed for Chinook. You can fish for them in the lower end only. Zymoetz (Copper) River in good shape and Chinook are coming in but I have heard the numbers are not good. Ocean fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Prawn and Crab good out of the ports of Kitimat, Stewart and Prince Rupert.
