North Channel, ON Chinook & Coho Salmon.
Posted on October 8th, 2014Our good friend Joe Kubassek set us this image of a Chinook he recently caught fishing south of Elliot Lake, ON. He caughta few nice coho and Chinook fishing the North Channel tributaries (stretch of water originating form the mouth of the St. Mary’s River and running in-between the north shore of Manitoulin Island and the mainland . You don’t often hear of steelheaders targeting salmon that run up the North Channel tributaries to spawn, so it can be prime fishing waters.
