It’s Nov. Chinooks are still in the lower sections of tributaries and harbor mouths and many anglers are still catching them fishing artificial lures.
Paul Hamilton is reporting good action right in Hamilton Bay, ON casting glow-in-the-dark spoons after dark. Chinook salmon can be very aggressive even as they turn darker and darker and love to smash glow-spoons just cast and retrieved.
Glow-spoons don’t have to be fished deep or reeled in fast. Just simple cast and retrieved at regular speed. The key is to be persistent and wait for cruising salmon to swim by.
