[nggallery id=859]Aldo Nava reports. The Nigara River has been producing some good size browns and rainbows. Fish are holding in shallower water than usual in many cases shallower than 20′ and only 20-30′ out from the shorelines. Shore anglers have been doing great and as you can see, Bill Henry caught this nice fish just drifting from shore at the Queenston, ON boat launch shoreline.
We drifted near shore with live minnows fished on a 3-way rig along the bottom and were catching some really nice size trout.
