Jaimie Stanley reports. The ice fishing is good on Lake Erie. A are reporting good amounts of pan fish being caught on Hali Jigs tipped with minnows.
Burt Dam was a success, for Greg Stanley of All in the Same Boat, with large amounts of Steelhead being caught on white marabou jigs and hot pink jigs tipped with a single cured salmon egg made from a recipe used at the old Feathers and Fur Tackle Shop and sold exclusively at All in the Same Boat.
Johnsons Creek is beginning to open up and is fishable at the dam.
Chautauqua Lake in Mayville, NY as reported by Matt Wilson of North Tonawanda, NY, is reporting any nice size perch being caught in 10′ of water on Gill Pill Jigs tipped with minnows, or wax worms. He reports that 53 Keepers were pulled in from 4:30am to 1:00pm.
