Posted on December 21st, 2013 Trohy Char can be caught in Canada in the Tree River, NWT and in some of Russia’s rivers as well.
In 2012 the official IGFA world record was beaten by a specimen from the Zhupanova River, Russia. The water is now in the focus of international fishermen. In September this year the river produced again a new bestmark. The whitespotted char is one of 8 char species that have reached weights of over 22 lb.
