Lake Ontario anglers are enjoying an amazing summer consistently catching bigger and bigger Chinook Salmon.
Our friend Jeremy Patey is producing big-time. In addition to boats landing many large Chinooks, lots of “shakers” are being caught & released which means the fishing is going to be excellent for the next few years as those juvenille Chinooks put on up to 5 lb. a season!
Can you guess what city is in the background. This means the salmon are making their way east as they continue to feed heavily on plentiful baitfish schools.
Flashers and flies have been working well to attract feeding salmon fished in depths from 50-80′ down.
