Near north walleye action.
Posted on July 11th, 2014Our good friend Wayne Murray sent in this picture of his son Steve with one of the nice walleye he caught fishing a night crawler rigged on a #2 Gamakatsu hook on a fluorocarbon leader with a small split-shot sinker about 18: from he hook. He was also using a braided line for extra feel. The trophy walleye weighed-in at 5lb. Just goes to show you that sometimes simply fishing a dew worm properly rigged can produce big results!
