Nathanial Reubeni lands trophy musky.

My wife Barbara and our pup Mulligan had the pleasure of fishing with Benjamin & 14 yr. old Nethanial Reubeni for a few hours on the Lower Niagara River, NY.

The weather was beautiful, winds light and we were able to fish some of my favorite drifts for a real mix-bag of fish.

We all caught lot’s of white bass, a couple of smallmouth bass, a few good size sheepshead and than we had a real surprise.

All of a sudden Nathanial’s rod was doubled-over and he thought he had a big sheepshead on. After realing that the fish was fighting way to hard to be a sheepshead, he finally landed with trophy musky. The fish took a 4″ Lunker City Fin-S-Fish on a 3/8 oz. jighead.  Nethanial was fishing the Rapala Concepti spinning outfit loaded with 30 lb. Sufix832 braid with a 15 lb. Sufix Fluorocarbon leader…well done Nethanial!
