Naked beads and beads/roe bags for tributary steelhead.
Posted on December 9th, 2017Many tributary steelhead anglers rely on drift-fishing with roe bags while others have discovered fishing an imitation egg slightly above their roe bag.
Dawid Adam has had great success fishing both. More recently glass and acrylic beads have become very popular for catching tributary trout, especially faster water runs in both clear & turbid water condition. They can be fished “naked” (no roe bag below), or with a roe bag. Both presentations can produce good size steelhead.
