My favorite fresh fish chowder recipe.

There’s nothing like a nice hot fish chowder to warm you up in the sub-zero temperatures we have been having! Here is a simple recipe that is quick and easy to make:

  • Cut up into small pieces: celery, onions, carrots, potatoes
  • Cut up 1 – 2 lb. of boneless fish into small pieces (fresh or saltwater, or both)
  • Sauté celery & onions
  • Boil carrots & potatoes in a large pot with about 2 liter of water
  •  When carrots & potatoes are cooked to your liking, add the celery and onions
  • Turn heat down to simmer
  • Add 1 litre of Half & Half cream
  • Add 1 cup of Cheese Whiz
  • Add hot sauce (if you like it spicy)
  • Add fish and turn off stove.
