More Chinook Salmon and some Migratoy Brown running up Lake Ontario, NY Tributaries.

Posted on September 14th, 2010

[nggallery id=313]Upper NY anglers are already catching trophy Chinook and some migratory brown trout fishing at the harbor mouths of Eighteen Mile Creek in Olcott, NY and also on the Oak Orchard.  Many of the fish are still staging at the mouth and in the first section of river in from Lake Ontario.  More and more fish are making their way up-stream to the first fast-water areas and some have moved all the way up to the dams.  If you love to tributary fish, you can hook into some fresh-run fish right now.  With more rain in the forcast, more fish will be coming up in the very near future.
