Mixed saltwater action, Gulf of Mexico, Fl.
Posted on July 14th, 2016I just had the pleasure of fishing with JR inventor of Bait2Go and our good friend Lek Durr out on the Gulf of Mexico, Fl for a variety of tasty bottom fish. We started off mid-morning and fished for about 5-hrs and caught a variety of bottom fish.
This was JR’s first time testing his Bait2Go for saltwater fishing and it worked great. We used fresh-cut squid and baitfish for bait and the Bait2Go kept the bait fresh and tidy (no mess in the boat). Above, JR holds up one of the tastiest bottom fish we caught in 70′ of water, a Black Saltwater Bass.
Both JR and Lek caught lot’s of fish including this double-header Red Grouper. For all of our off-shore fishing we use the Rapala Speed Jigging Rods matched with Rapala R-Type Heave Duty spinning reels and Sufix 832 braid.
