Michelle MacMillan; aka Ultimate Fighergirl catches lot’s of Quinte Walleye.
Posted on August 3rd, 2010Hi Italo;
[nggallery id=288]
Just getting back from another super fun weekend of fishing with my Dad! We were out again on the Bay of Quinte. We went out on Saturday mid-morning and fished for about 3 hours. We tried for walleye but they weren’t biting. My dad used spinnerbait with a worm and I used my trusty old crank-bait! We moved around and flipped for bass; but they weren’t hungry either. Got-up early on Sunday and were on the Bay by 6:45am! Caught the sun coming-up and we had our first fish before 8am! A couple more hours fishing for walleye and we had landed 3 in the boat! By 11:30am; the feeding frenzy was all over and we headed back towards shore! I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this sport! I had a meeting with our Contractor in our Oakville Office last week, and afterwards, drove over to the Fishergirl Store in Burlingtion and met Jessica. I bought the t-shirts in these pictures and some fishing line from her. I promised to send her some pics.
Fishing has to be the ultimate sport and we need to get more women out on the waters! If ever you’re taping a show in the Bay of Quinte region, or close to my home (Ajax, Ontario); I’d love the opportunity to meet you and perhaps be a guest on your show. By all means, please feel free to post this and a few of my pics on your website. All women need to experience the fun of fishing!
Please keep in touch,
Michelle MacMillan; aka Ultimate Fighergirl
Hi Michelle,
Sounds like you had a great day fishing on Sunday. Now you can see how so many people (men & women), get hooked on fishing (pardon the pun!). I will gladly post your experience in our News section of our website. Thank you for your offer to fish together, right now we are mostly doing out of province trips, but I will keep your contact info. on-hand for the future.
God bless you,
Italo
