Lyman Lures excellent choice to flat-line troll in the harbor mouths and to cast in the lower tributary sections for trophy Chinooks.

[nggallery id=317]As we enter the peek of the harbor and lower estuary Chinook Salmon fishing in many of the Lake Ontario tributaries I wanted to share with you some images from one of the largest salmon ever caught and entered in the Salmon Hunt.  The lure it was caught on is significant since staging salmon can get very aggressive and love to strike slow, wobbling lures like the Lyman.

Colin Redisky, President of Lyman Lures Manufacturing recently sent me some images of Bruce Oliver and Skipper John Wylie who caught one of the biggest Chinooks in the history of the Salmon Hunt.  The fish picture is of the Charter Capt John Wylie with a replica of the fish which won the Derby in early 1990.

If you love to salmon fish, make sure to check out the www.lymanlures.com site and check-out their sizes and color selections.  You never know, you may catch the next record Ontario Chinook on a Lyman!
