Lunker City SwimFish for in-active Pike.
Posted on June 7th, 2016Pike love to eat smaller fish, especially when thy are struggling to swim and enter their “strike-zone”. When pike are not prowling, looking for food (early and late in the day), they usually hold near cover like wood, rock structure and weeds waiting to ambush unsuspecting prey.
That’s the time I focus on fishing a swim-jigging presentation in a specific area and close to the bottom. That’s where the Lunker City SwimFish works great producing a “slapping” tail action no matter if it’s jigged, or reeled in horizontally. The slender Fin-S-Fish body combined with the paddle tail produces an action that in-active walleye & pike can’t resist!
