Our good friend, Aldo Nava who operates Niagara Fishing Adventures continues to have excellent success taking client out on the Lower Niagara, ON.  Water clarity has been good, and the Art Park drift on the NY side of the river has been especially good.

Aldo has been fishing the Rapala line of rods and reels loaded with Sufix line and Sufix Flurocarbon leaders.  Main lines are 10 lb test with 8 lb fluorocarbon leaders.  Three-way rigs with 1 1/4 oz. pencil weights, 30 inch leader and small size 8-10 Gamakatsu hooks have worked great.

Top producing bait has been freshly tied salmon or trout egg-sacks.  Top artificial has been the TriggerX Single Salmon Egg in pink and yellow.  While temperatures have been cold, fishing has been hot!

The weather man is predicting some mild days coming up over the next 7 days so this may be a great time to contact Aldo and book a guided fishing trip with him.
