Lower Niagara, ON cold temperatures, hot fishing action.

Posted on December 29th, 2013

male_rainbowAldo Nava from www.niagarafishingadventures.com , reports that cold temperatures has kept most fishermen off the Lower Niagara River, but the fishing is still hot.  Most anglers are fishing 3-way bottom-bouncing rigs with either fresh trout egg-sacks, TriggerX single salmon eggs, streamers and some are also fishing minnows.

Common rig consists of 1 1/4 oz. pencil weight, 30-36″ Sufix Fluorocarbon leader, & Gamakatsu #8 or #10 hook.

If you are looking for an excuse to get your fishing-fix, even in the middle of winter, contact Aldo and book a charter!
