Our good friend Moshe Berger who I met and fished with in Israel had a chance to come back to Ontario and do some brook trout fishing. He took his son and daughter to Limberlost Forest & Wildlife Preserve. Here are some pictures of from their fall trip.
After very slow fishing from the boat, they realized that “all” the fish in the lake were in front of their cabin. Moshe caught several Brookies with the fly rod off the dock. He also had an hour of incredible spinner fishing from shore.
They caught over over 15 fish and had a great Brook Trout adventure.
Most importantly, his kids caught their first Brook trout and then many more.
In Moshe’s words, “Now they understand why their Dad dreams of those beautiful fish which are hand painted by God himself. (My theory anyways)”
