Late summer Walleye adventure.

Posted on October 2nd, 2019

While many anglers close cottage around Labour Day and winterize their boats and pack their summer fishing gear away, others look forward to the cooler conditions, the trees changing color and taking advantage of late-summer early fall Walleye & Pike fishing.

Our good friend Rown Jessik recently took a trip to the Chapleau, ON region and decided to target Walleye using worm harnesses.

He not only did well catching Walleye, but his group also caught some nice Pike.

As fall water temps drop Walleye will again move into the shallows, especially at night so if you can find shallow-water structure just before dark, you have have some amazing fishing late in the day and even just after dark.
