Our good friend Simeon Kubassek sent us this update on catching silver fall Chinooks off the north-shore of Lake Superior.
While most anglers in southern Ontario are tributary fishing for dark, spawning salmon. Simeon and his friend are trolling in-shore in 20-40′ of water and catching silver “juvenile” Chinooks that are powerful, hungry and excellent eating.
They have been trolling spoons and body-baits and covering lots of water. For Great Lakes anglers that have already packed-up their boats, some of the top silver salmon and steelhead fishing is still hot!
