Lake Superior Chinooks & Rainbows.
Posted on August 5th, 2016Our good friend Joe Kubassek had a chance to visit his son Simeon and fish Lake Superior for salmon & rainbow trout.
They fished just off Thunder Bay, ON and trolled spoons to catch a good mix of fish including this silver Chinook.
Steelhead feeding in the same area are also plentiful and often caught while trolling for salmon. The north-shore of Lake Superior get much less pressure from Great Lakes salmon & trout anglers and the fishing can be excellent just off-shore!
