Most Lake Ontario tributaries have Chinook salmon around with a mix of beat-up fish, some spawners, and a few fresher fish. Most anglers are targeting browns & steelhead with a few fish being caught.
Though some fish are being caugth, the action is on the slow-side. I have not hear of any major spawning for the browns or steelhead, so hopefully this means we will have a late fall “run” with more fish to come. Most anglers are targetting the lower section of the tributaries which means concentrations of anglers. Hopefully more fish will run up after the recent reins.
