Lake Ontario Salmon Fishing Update.

Posted on June 9th, 2009

Lake Ontario anglers have been experiences challenging  fishing conditions mainly due to high winds.  Dave Kubassek was out from Bronte Creek Harbour, ON and had good results fishing in 140-160′ of water.   Silver spoons with accent stripes in green, red & blue worked well trolled 55-75′ deep.  If you are planning on fishing Lake Ontario for Pacific Salmon and trout, make sure to cover a lot of water (fish are scattered), and definitely fish deeper water.
