Lake Ontario, ON shoreline trout fishing.

Posted on April 6th, 2013

Our good friend Aldo Nava who operates, http://www.niagarafishingadventures.com was out exploring the Lake Ontario waters off Port Dalhousie, ON the other day with his frined Tammy.  They were flat-line trolling in 15′ of water using body baits like the Rapala Jointed #13 and the Storm HotN’Tot.  Water temperature surface temperature was only 37.5F, but they still managed to catch this trophy brown trout.  Look for fishing action inproving as shoreline water temperatures approach 42F.

If you would like to book a guided fishing trip with Aldo and take advantage of the spring Lake Ontario near shore fishing, or fishing the Niagara River, you can contact him at, www.niagarafishingadventures.com .
