Lake Ontario, NY tributaries still producing trophy brown trout.

I took a drive to check the conditions of a couple of the Lake Ontario, NY tributary streams in the Olcott, NY area and can confirm that they are high and discolored from all the rain we are receiving. Even with the tough conditions I was able to land a trophy brown trout in just a couple of hours fishing. I used a 4″ bunny-streamer fished with a Rapala Magnum 13′ drift-rod and Rapala Centre Pin reel with Sufix 8 lb. test Titanium “yellow” line. The fish fought hard and was still full of eggs. I am hoping to check the conditions again after the temperature drops by Friday. I have a feeling the fishing will be excellent.
