Lake Ontario in-shore browns.

April and May is an excellent time to target brown, rainbow and lake trout that are in water less than 30′. You can simply flat-line troll with either a wobbling spoon or a Jointed Rapala, or also use planer boards or shallow-set Dipsey Divers. As water temps warm up and more baitfish move shallower the fishing will only get better.
