Lake Nipissing Walleye with very interesting head!

Nan Bucci who is a loyal fan from Winona, Ontario sent us this image of a cute walleye he caught fishing Calendar Bay, on Lake Nipissing, ON. I have seen all kinds of deformities in fish, bent vertebrae, partial jaw, but I have never seen such a short, stubby head that looks more like a Goby-head. Looks like the head-shape was not an issue for this walleye. It looks healthy and hit Nan’s offering!
