Lake Nipissing, ON Fishing Report.

Tyler and Jason Howick. We recently returned from a fishing trip up north for Walleye and Smallmouth bass on the opener. Most of our walleye were caught drifting with live-bait rigs and jigs in 20-40 ft of water. The two biggest fish of the trip were an 8.5 lb, 29 inch walleye and a 8lb, 28 inch walleye, both putting up great fights on lighter tackle. On opening day we targeted Smallmouth Bass, fishing main lake shoals and steep breaking shorelines using wacky rigged Senkos.
